A Government enquiry in 2001 recommended the increased provision of complementary medicine in the NHS where there is evidence of patient demand and effectiveness.  We offer therapies which have been proven to be effective for certain medical conditions, such as osteopathy for backpain and acupuncture for arthritis.

To view research papers supporting the use of complementary therapies for musculoskeletal conditions as well as mild depression and stress, please click on the related links on the left.

In the coming months we want to gather audits/evaluations of community complementary medicine projects. Please forward yours to [email protected].
